Qualifying > I went out at the back of the grid for the qualifying session. I gave myself a few laps to get into a rhythm and then set the fastest lap with a 43.54. On the next lap, Jacob Hunstone (no.33) set the fastest lap with a 43.54, although he was just thousandths quicker than me! I could not respond and post a faster time, so came in after 11 laps. Chad Ryan (no.82) qualified third with a 43.68.

Heat 1 > I started 2nd for the first heat. I had a reasonable start but could not get past Jacob at the Spoon. Chad managed to get past me at this point but I repassed him on the following lap. I chased Jacob but the gap stayed the same and I finished 2nd in this heat. My fastest lap was a 43.67.

Heat 2 > I started in 2nd spot again for this heat. Again Jacob had a good start and I battled with Chad for 2nd spot. We raced for most of the heat and then I saw a gap on lap 6, passing him down the inside at the Carousel. I then chased for the remainder of the heat but couldn't make an impression on the gap that Jacob Hunstone had pulled. I finished second and my fastest lap was a 43.66.

Final > I was 2nd on the grid for the final. I had a good start but could not get to the inside at the first corner. I stayed in 2nd place for the whole of the 15 laps and my fastest lap was a 43.78.
