Glan-Y-Gors Round 10, November 2008
Qualifying > After warming my tyres and having my first flying lap, I slowed and made myself space, then went for it. I rose up to 1st place with a 43.86. This was enough to keep me on pole for the first heat.
Heat 1 > I had a reasonable start and got away in the greasy conditions, although Jacob Hunstone (no.33) kept me honest until midway through the race, where he dropped back. I posted a 47.66 lap time and finished 1.62 seconds ahead.
Heat 2 > I was on pole for this heat, and the track had dried out. I quickly slipped into a rhythm and did my best to get away. I finished 2.59 seconds ahead of Joe Charlton (no.51) and set the fastest lap of a 44.08.
Final > I started reasonably well and pulled away from Joe and Jacob as they battled it out for 2nd, and I set the fastest lap of a 43.91, and won with a gap of 4.09 seconds separating me and 2nd placed Jacob.
